MEET LL

LLchemy founder, Laura Lanktree, is a trusted name in media. As a former editor at Canada's leading fashion magazine, LL is savvy when it comes to storytelling and content development. She has leveraged those skills to create a successful digital agency that can deliver video content for editorial and advertorial purposes, servicing a diverse client list that includes PR agencies, beauty companies, fashion retailers, and some of the most respected lifestyle publications in North America.

On set, LL is known for her ability to problem solve, improvise scripts, and direct talent. She has worked with a range of on-air skill sets; from established actors and models, to bloggers and "real" people. Thanks to her past experience as an editor and on-air host, LL can put talent at ease and quickly adapt content when necessary, without compromising the brand message.

Laura is, above all else, a storyteller, and she excels at finding and delivering the heart of the story.

LL built her portfolio over 6 years at Rogers Media as the multimedia editor of Flare.com. In 2007, she successfully launched teenflare.com, an extension of Flare magazine, and in 2009 she was selected to co-host CityTV’s Ford Models Supermodel of the World Canada, a prime time reality television show. Laura was also a regular fashion correspondent for MuchMusic and has appeared on eTalk, Breakfast Television, and CMT.

In 2011, Laura founded LLchemy Productions.
